Following from Colonial office.
The question has arisen of the transfer back to Hong Kong of those companies who transferred their registered offices to the United Kingdom prior to the outbreak of war with pan. Provision for such transfer was made der Section 5 of Defence (Companies)
1 pulations 1940, and Colonial Companies (Transfer Order-in-Council, 1942.

A copy of S. R. & 0. 1945 No. 1533 (Orter-in-Council of 7.12.45) which added Regulation No. 5A is enclosed. Under this Regulation provision is made for the Board of Trade to remove such a company from the United Kingdom register provided provision has been made for registration of the company in the country of origin.
